THINK OF ME
THINK OF ME
In my latest work I have focused on adding more to the background layers, building up interest with
images of Hollywood stars from the 50's and 60's, old musical score sheets, vintage french land registry certificates as well as the usual graffiti references taken from my local city Bristol and Brick Lane in
London. I am an avid collector of all sorts of wild and wonderful ephemera that tells a story and has a history.
Whilst the flowers are the main focus in this particular piece I wanted the background to still be filled with lots of depth and interest. Stripes seem to be a recurring theme at the moment too as I think I like the order they bring amongst the chaos of everything else happening on the canvas.
The title of this piece has been adapted from the title of the muscial score 'Perhaps You'll Think Of Me' and is included in the artwork alongside all my usual graffiti-inspired references.
