AS SEEN ON TV
I can now officially share that my work has been seen on tv!
My original artwork titled ‘Future’s Bright’ was bought earlier this year for a new romcom series called The Flatshare airing on Paramount Plus UK from December 1st.
It’s based on the book of the same name by author Beth O’Leary and adapted for TV by Rosele Weinstein and directed by The Full Monty filmmaker Peter Cattaneo.
It tells the story of Tiffany (played by Jessica Brown Findlay) and Leon (Anthony Welsh) who rent a flat together (and share the same bed) but never actually get to meet. What could possibly go wrong?!
I had no idea how much my artwork would feature but it makes lots of appearances as it’s a permanent fixture in the flat. The first time I saw it I will admit I did a very excitable squeal and needless to say I watched the entire series in one evening!
Huge thanks go to Makers Bristol for making this happen. If it hadn’t been in their window it would not have caught the eye of a passing production buyer. The stars were definitely aligned that day.
What a great way to end my year!
